"Hey, did you know? Ghosts exist because the people that died have regrets? They say the soul can't rest in peace until their regrets disappear." That was just a moment in the life that flashed before the girl's eyes as she lost consciousness. The ambulance came just in time to be seen by her ghost. "How unfortunate for me." the ghost thought. "I wonder, how many people are gonna cry?" Her parents, her relatives and her few friends cried. But she valued every tear that they shed, because they were the ones she loved. She didn't need fake tears. Fresh and white lily and iris flowers were put on her grave. Time passed, but the ghost couldn't figure out what was keeping her on earth. She didn't know what her regret was, so she watched over her friends to find it. "I wonder, how many people remember me?" From time to time, the people that knew her felt the empty spot left by the girl, with her comments that always lightened up the atmosphere and brought smiles on their faces. She felt a bit guilty, being happy over their sadness, but their love reached her, even in death. Time passed. She expected that she would've been forgotten by that time, but something was still keeping her from resting in peace. "I wonder, what is my regret?" People still remembered her, people still loved her, but what was missing? Her friends changed. They became less thoughtful, less patient. Instead, they were greedy, bitter and everything seemed to go into the wrong direction. And when all got bad they would say: "Only if SHE was here." The ghost realized. She was the missing element. Her regret was her own death. Now the ghost became the unhappiest of them all. She wouldn't ever be able to rest. Their love was her burden. Their tears were her nightmares. She had to watch as her loved ones's lives were destroyed, and she couldn't do anything to save them. "When will they forget me?"
